Rehabilitation is a combination of nursing care, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy. It encompasses the complexities of illness and debilitation to give increased health, endurance and independence. We offer rehab to both long term and short term clients. We strive to maintain the highest level of functioning for all of our clients. Through careful screenings and assessments we gauge function, range, safety awareness and learning mechanisms to provide individualized care. Using state of the art equipment and programs we provide quality rehab to the population we serve. Our services are in keeping with rehab hospitals and outpatient centers with the exception that we can schedule therapy sessions according to our clients needs and work at the pace best for each individual. Aside from actual therapy, we work to keep clients and their families motivated, educated and informed.
From day one we join efforts with clients and loved ones to create a winning plan. Together we form a team of support that will see you through the challenges you face. Our skill and experience will give you the tools for rapid goal achievement. The peace of mind in knowing we listen to our clients will expedite your confidence and motivation.
Our short term rehab clients can come directly from home or from an acute care setting. Clients who have Medicare Part A and had a recent three night stay in the hospital may be able to utilize benefits for up to 100 days. In order to meet the guidelines for use, further skilled nursing or professional services are needed on a continuous inpatient basis. We also accept private funds, managed care and other insurance clients for our rehab program.

Combined with our 24 hour nursing care, we are prepared to treat even the most complex patients. When time and patience is provided, seriously debilitated clients can make meaningful strides in recovery. We teach all clients to use compensatory measures and adaptive equipment. Exercises and therapeutic activities provide cardiovascular and general strengthening for improved overall health. We’re ready, are you?
In the past, pain, circulation and memory deficits reduced endurance and ability to rapidly progress in rehab. Today we have incorporated advanced equipment and written modules for special needs. Commonly used equipment includes the following:
|
Decreases pain, inflammation and muscle spasms. Enhances blood flow and tissue healing.
Causes selective heating of muscles, joints and capsules by transmitting electrical energy to a magnetic field. This results in increased cell membrane permeability, white blood cell infiltration and reabsorption of toxins.
Provides impulses to decrease or increase muscle tone, decrease pain, decrease edema and increase blood flow.
|
Combined with traditional techniques and equipment, painful treatments are a thing of the past. After all, the more comfortable you are, the more you can accomplish and the shorter your stay!
Specialized treatment programs are the key to meeting the needs of rehab patients with such common complications. Below is a summary of these truly beneficial programs.
|
Programs designed to treat the client with memory impairment.

Works to improve bladder function and decrease social limitations associated with this common problem.
